About
Alexis Nouveau is an Ecologist and Environmental Educator with a passion for connecting people with the natural world. She fell in love with education while volunteering at a local wildlife hospital, and has been involved with environmental education and wildlife rehabilitation ever since.

Alexis is known for her inquiry-driven and interactive programming, which gets people excited about nature. Alexis lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, Zach, and their menagerie of creatures, which includes a sulcata tortoise named Shango and a greyhound named Coscia.
My Style
Personalized
Alexis tailors each presentation to whoever she is working with that day. We all show up differently each day, and she likes to meet students where they are when teaching. Her patience and kindness ensures that each student leaves with new knowledge and is inspired to make change in their own world.
Inclusive
Alexis works with students of all abilities and makes a conscious effort to be inclusive with how she teaches and communicates with her community. She is a Birdability Captain with Birdability—Birdability works to ensure the birding community and the outdoors are welcoming, inclusive, safe and accessible for everybody.
Adaptive
Alexis is always ready to change things up depending on what her students need. Though you may book the same program with her annually, the programs take shape differently each time.
Interactive
Alexis strives to make her lessons fun and engaging. Students that attend Ms. Alexis’ lessons leave having learned something new, every time!
Let's learn together!
